Yesterday didn’t start off to well.  I sent a message to brother J to find out when he was arriving well subsequently he told me it would be about 9 last night and then he asked if I would be working today.  I told him yes and my reaction was wtf?  I also said it would have been nice to have some advanced notice to plan for the day.  I resented him expecting me to be here.  I was stewing about it throughout the day and also sent messages to Liz.  I ended up putting the time in and when he said “Don’t do it on my account” that just floored me.  REALLY? He said all he was going to do is contact “HIM” and let him know what was going on.  I reminded him of the stuff he has here.

I got home had some dinner and then read messages from Liz.  She had a feeling he wouldn’t be coming and she was right.  He called around 8 or 9 and told me his activities went into overtime and he wouldn’t have gotten here until much later.  So he ended up not coming.  We spent some time talking and I was a little contrite and apologized if I sounded abrupt this morning but he totally understood.  We talked about when he would come up (sometime in the next few weeks) he related his plans for the phone call to “Him”. 

The messages from Liz were letting me know that Cheryl was going to call me about things and to get papers signed but she ran late.  That will be tonight or in the next few days.  Liz also suggested that since the Photographer was coming on Saturday I should take one room each and clean it (the dust and vacuum out and wash windows). 

I started with the dining room and then I had to get rid of the clog in the vacuum.  I was pleased with myself for getting it down.  I am thinking it was tricky.   It was in the floor part and really had to be taken apart. I finished the curtains this morning.  I worked on the guest room and need to put those curtains up.

I took a break to have lunch, chat with Chairman Phil, and a visit from the neighbors’ kids (who really want to buy this place).

I have the office and the back bedroom to do and the bathroom.  I have the living room to do and the kitchen I think.  Liz will be here to declutter the kitchen on Saturday and to talk with the Photographer.

Late this afternoon I got a phone call from Jim.  He will be coming up this weekend for a few hours to have a meeting with the Lawyer.  They spoke briefly today and he explained to the idiot that he has things to do next week.  So he wanted to meet with him. Meet him here.  That’s lovely news.  I talked with Liz about it.   Not sure if she understood but that’s okay.

I had my dermatology appointment with no problem except I almost lost my phone.  Some of those office workers were dumber than rocks.

I came home around 5 with coffee and I suspect I will be up for a while.  I was going to finish putting the curtains up but I am tired of that.  I will do it tomorrow.

Right now the cats are sitting with me on the bed sleeping.  They have been either in the attic (Sky), or in the closet in my bedroom (Tiger) but she got out eventually.

I may go to go bed early tonight.  I have some stuff to put away first and will do it shortly.
