It is almost 12:30 and I haven’t been able to sleep.  The tea and soda I drank are part of it, and I'm also mentally reviewing today's to-do list to prepare for tomorrow's trip.

I'm choosing whether to visit the bottle return or laundromat first.   Both options will likely take at least ninety minutes.   Then I can come home and finish cleaning the house.  After that I can pack a suitcase and then relax for the day until my Hematology appointment.

The temperature is 62 degrees, and I am thinking about turning on the heat.   This would require closing the windows and turning off the ceiling fans.   I only have the fan on in the house.

Sky just left the bed.  He isn’t happy that I have been on the computer and tossing and turning for the past couple of hours.  He will be back eventually….

It's nearly 7, and I just got up.   I have fed sky, and about to have my second cup of coffee.  I am having a slow start to the day.  Laura advised me to relax since it's my vacation, but waiting too long could lead to stress and unfinished tasks.

The morning was somewhat productive.   I watched television, washed the dishes, and made the bed.   I had an early lunch

J called me just before noon.   He showed me the house key's location but admitted he'd forgotten I was arriving tomorrow.  That gave me an oh my feeling.  He called back late in the afternoon so I wouldn’t have to look for a pie at a roadside stand.   We don’t have many in Milford

After that I went to my Hematology appointment.  He was satisfied with the bloodwork.   However, he could tell I was having issues with everything else.  The next time I see him is in December.  He will be checking reports with Everyone else.

Afterward, I dropped the dress at Staples.  The bottle return area at the store was chaotic.   I ended up putting the bottles in the closet until I get home

After arriving home, I cooked dinner and cleaned the car but did little else that evening.    My suitcase has been packed.    Reviewed Sky's feeding schedule with the neighbor.

Now I am going to bed….

I've been receiving blood test results from both the hospital and my primary doctor.   He told me my A1C was up and so was my cholesterol.  So almost every day I have gone to pick up prescriptions and make sure I take them. My PC wants me to get blood work in a couple of months.  I need to check the patient portal for notes.  He strongly urges me to take the meds for the A1C and Cholesterol because if I don’t, I can’t have a stroke or heart attack.

Due to being on antibiotics, the infusion scheduled for Friday was cancelled.  I checked with the rheumatologist, and she confirmed and thanked me for following up.   I don’t know if they will call me back for this month or just keep the schedule as it is.

I just reordered the one from Dr. Yang.  It’s a huge ass name too.  It should be here in a couple of days.  I will also see her next Friday before I start my vacation.  Although that wouldn’t matter or not.

I'm working on improving the menus.   To make better choices but that I am finding difficult.  For example.  I had a bowl of cereal this morning (not the usual 2 bowls) but I had coffee a few times today and now having Cinnamon Apple Spice and for lunch three rib steaks thin.  I had planned on cooking all three since they were frozen together and have only one and use the other two for something else in the next couple of days.  I should have put them in the freezer instead of eating them.

I was considering tonight's party food.  I am going to try hard not to eat the wings that I am bringing but I saw on the message board that there will be lots of fruit and salads and some snacky stuff.  Stay hydrated.

I still need to review recipes to see if they suit my needs.   I will let you know
