I think its crunch time
Sep. 4th, 2025 08:11 pmIt is almost 12:30 and I haven’t been able to sleep. The tea and soda I drank are part of it, and I'm also mentally reviewing today's to-do list to prepare for tomorrow's trip.
I'm choosing whether to visit the bottle return or laundromat first. Both options will likely take at least ninety minutes. Then I can come home and finish cleaning the house. After that I can pack a suitcase and then relax for the day until my Hematology appointment.
The temperature is 62 degrees, and I am thinking about turning on the heat. This would require closing the windows and turning off the ceiling fans. I only have the fan on in the house.
Sky just left the bed. He isn’t happy that I have been on the computer and tossing and turning for the past couple of hours. He will be back eventually….
It's nearly 7, and I just got up. I have fed sky, and about to have my second cup of coffee. I am having a slow start to the day. Laura advised me to relax since it's my vacation, but waiting too long could lead to stress and unfinished tasks.
The morning was somewhat productive. I watched television, washed the dishes, and made the bed. I had an early lunch
J called me just before noon. He showed me the house key's location but admitted he'd forgotten I was arriving tomorrow. That gave me an oh my feeling. He called back late in the afternoon so I wouldn’t have to look for a pie at a roadside stand. We don’t have many in Milford
After that I went to my Hematology appointment. He was satisfied with the bloodwork. However, he could tell I was having issues with everything else. The next time I see him is in December. He will be checking reports with Everyone else.
Afterward, I dropped the dress at Staples. The bottle return area at the store was chaotic. I ended up putting the bottles in the closet until I get home
After arriving home, I cooked dinner and cleaned the car but did little else that evening. My suitcase has been packed. Reviewed Sky's feeding schedule with the neighbor.
Now I am going to bed….
