After having a fairly uplifting day between the credit cards getting their payments and getting the paycheck pay raise things didn’t go as planned when i got home.

I got home settled in and started cooking the chicken and feeding the cats and then checking emails and learning that the DTC meeting was last night.  

I was having a hard time with connecting to zoom last night and during the meeting when Chairman Rich was speaking the sound and the interference was abominable.  LUckily it was over by 8:30 because right after that I had no internet service.  

I checked the lines and unplugged and nothing.  I had made plans to transfer all the scanning I did at work for my personal files to the laptop so I couldn't do that.  I wanted to update my budget until 9.   I finally called the Provider and for the next couple of hours we worked on it.  It was nothing on their side so now he is sending a tech this afternoon.   I hope the guy comes at 4:30 like I asked.  The guy on the phone was completely understanding, especially after I went off on him about hte service (this was the third time this month it went off).  I couldn’t check any of my apps on the phone either but I kept receiving them.  

So my plans to do a lot of cooking, organizing, cleaning all went to the sidelines.  My hope is I can do it tonight as Liz would like to get together and work on the kitchen table chairs to reupholster them this weekend.  Again it depends on our levels of activities, health, and energy.  

It's been cold the last couple of days.  When I left the office on Thursday the thermostat in my car read 28 degrees.  The sun was out and blinding me a little.  I am not sure what the temperatures were over night but apparently it must have snowed just a little because I found a light coating on my  car this morning.  It is 14 degrees in Milford now and 12 Degrees in New Haven.  

Its supposed to stay brutally cold all weekend and starting Sunday into Monday a storm.  It looks like its going to be all day which is wonderful considering I have to bring Sky to his wellness check up-yippee!

I let Liz know that the other credit card payment was posted and now that one will be finished very soon.  She also told me the shades have arrived for the guest room and bedroom so that will be all set and she will get my nephew to put them up.

I joined another site this week at Sammi’s suggestion.  this is mine.  I am still trying find my way around the site so I can’t give a review yet.
