I have been having problems sleeping at night. It's a myriad of reasons. I am always reading my phone or laptop for different things. I reflected on social norms and acceptability, and I finally managed to sleep last night.

Work has been good and busy. We had a team social to welcome the newest people to join us. One works under ChristinaM and one works on our team. The rest of the week was enjoyable. The pile of rejections that Patty gave me was big and I was able to finish it that same day.

On Friday the mail coming in was heavy. Opened it—mostly shredder material. I'll finish the task on Monday, and GA will assist on Tuesday after her long weekend. Supervisor also took a long weekend as well.

We had a membership union meeting this week as well as our regular committee meeting. The membership meeting addressed the contract’s status and included questions about parts of the agreement. Held votes on union office staff salaries. In the committee meeting we reviewed the meeting and expressed our views on it. We also discussed EVs Retirement that is coming up in a month. She sent invites on Wednesday.

I spent some time with Liz last night. I was getting the mail for her. She had plenty of family updates. I understand why Cousin MA left Potsdam. She has POTS. She is staying with her brother Dan.

Bryan and Gina Maratea are taking their daughter to Boston for medical testing after Yale could not help. I feel sorry for them; their baby is lovely.

Rich started a new job and is loving it. Its cabinet making. He recently started it too. He gets tired because he is working long hours. I hope to see him soon

Things are good with Jim and Janis. I don't have any news about that. Been texting with throughout the week.

Well its after 10 and I need to move along with the day.
