Another Month has ended

Well it has another twelve hours before it ends but for all intents and purposes it’s over. A lot of stuff went on this past month, mostly focusing on the house clearing, getting ready to put on the market, and having it sold and now waiting for the final approval and continuing the condo search.
Cheryl sent me a few in the last few days, along with one that was suggested by my cousin. Two were mobile homes as I mentioned. The first one had three bedrooms, and was for $96,000. I believe it was move in ready. It was also not far from the highway. The second one needed work. That one is out.
The 4 condos she sent me 2 were repeats. The one on Point Beach drive (and the shared laundry area) and the other ones were Foxwoods, and Melba Street and they both only allow 1 pet.
We are looking at the one on forest road tomorrow at 5 pm. They allow pets but not sure of the limit. I did take the opportunity to ask Cheryl about the inspection and this is what she said “The inspection was just scheduled for October 5th. She has not been told the time yet by the other Realtor. They will be at your house approximately 2 hours. I will not be there. The other Realtor is required to be there. After the inspection and the results are finalized the bank will send out an appraiser. “ Sometime later I noticed she sent another email/text saying the will be at 10 am in the morning.
I did manage to participate in activities other than house related. I made it to one or two of the finding friends’ mid-week activities. Tonight I decided to stay home. I went out to dinner with Dave for our annual birthday dinner. OF course I worked.
The weather this month has had little to no rain for the state. Until that is, last night. Around 11 it started and continued until 6 this morning. It poured hard and the wind was strong. It literally ripped my flag and its holder off the column on the porch. It threw my friend’s campaign sign into the pile for bulk pick up. The rest of the day is mixed bag. I thought I heard that we are supposed to get more rain in the early part of October. So far we have had 18 days of no substantial rain. That’s fairly small compared to Mama’s rain total. 180 days she told me.
I took the Flag back inside and let it dry on a rag. I brushed it off when I got home tonight. I won’t be able to put it up again until I move. Hopefully I will find a place to be able to hang it.
Work has been busy. We had a power failure for about 10 or 15 minutes. The computers went down and not Wi-Fi. Luckily I could do other things on my laptop but not the internet. Luckily there was a generator for the overhead lights. Like I said it didn’t last long.
DG/aka shadow will be off the next two days so I will be doing the mail and my regular routine.
The kitties are good. I just spent some quality time with them while watching TV. Tiger was sitting on the couch and Sky sat on my chest like a baby. He has done this before in the last couple of weeks. I am hoping he will come up to bed. They have been downstairs most nights.
Their cat food finally came yesterday. It was supposed to be here Monday but it was delayed for some reason. When I got the email alert I wasn’t sure it was legitimate. I checked the website and they said it would be a day late. One of them left a hairball on the bed. I will have to wash the comforter again. Now that they don’t have as many things to hide behind they have taken to hiding behind the curtains. It’s really too funny
Well I am going to bed…starting to get tired.
