People in Moodus CT

Well Residents Near or in Moodus Connecticut the eastern part of the state had not one but two earthquakes this morning.  A friend who lives in West Haven said she didn’t feel it.  No, it's an hour and a half away.   Only a major seismic event will affect everyone.  I asked Laura today if she could feel it she said no.  She told me that it was up on route 9 and Middletown.  Many of my colleagues and some doctors live in that area.   

There was also one in Westchester last week.   Fairfield County residents noticed it, but New Haven did not.   They said five days ago which brings it to Thursday.  I also have friends and family in that area.   Everyone in the area has family or friends nearby.

Today, I attended the bingo activity, with participation from six to eight residents.   The same three people won today.  A resident leaning forward in a wheelchair made me uneasy.   We continued to play until 3 and cleaned up and headed home.

I was sorely tempted to get a pie in honor of PI Day but just came home and ate some of the ice cream sandwiches.  I have two left and will eat them soon.  I also had an early dinner.

I have been watching TV and managed to some cleaning…

I heard from Mama tonight.  She sent me a picture of her and her granddaughter sitting together.  She wrote something that made me call her and that’s how we spent catching up.  She shared how the visit with Miriam and Brett and the baby.   We talked about family, and health, activities and I mentioned seeing Eva.

So after all that I am heading to bed.
