Thankful Thursday 9/17

1.       I am thankful for family warts and all.  Liz and I have been spending a lot of time getting the house ready for the market.  We haven’t been looking at condos.  We have been  focusing on getting the house done. 

 

Jim will be home this weekend after all for a meeting with the Lawyer.  This should be interesting.

 

We missed the Phelan cousin chat this past weekend.  I hoep to be attending the next one.  I rsvp’d as tentative.

2.        I am thankful for the kitties.  They have been really traumatized this week being put in the crates so many times and having their “go to spots” taken from them.  Sky  has been getting into the hall linen closed (its empty) and the attic.  They both slept with me last night as it was a cool evening.

3.            I am thankful for my job.  It’s been busy.  Have a couple of meetings more on the additional procedures for scanning.

4.   I am thankful for the medical profession that keeps me on the road to good/better health.  I saw the Dermatologist t and she says I look good.  I haven’t seen the inside of the gym since I have been cleaning out the house.  I don’t know when I will get there.

I have my infusion next week and next month more appointments.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

5.            I am thankful for my home.  There have been lots of progress with clearing out of the house.  The Photographer is coming Saturday.  So is the Lawyer.  I am not really looking forward to that.

6.            I am thankful for my friends

7.            I am thankful for my neighbors.   They are okay.  One of the neighbors had a health scare recently and is recovering slowly. 

8.            I am thankful for the organizations I belong to.  It’s been quiet.  I finally had a chat with Chairman Phil this week.  He has had phone troubles.  We discussed further the situation.  He felt terrible.  Offered any assistance if needed. We do have a meeting next Thursday.

9.            I am thankful for the weather.  Clearly the fall is coming.  It's been cool in the morning, and in the mid 80’s during the day.  We are getting the smoke from the Wildfires.  Have I mentioned I really don’t understand that?

10.          I am thankful for those who choose to protect and serve our country.  Enough said.

11.   I am thankful for those who are in the healthcare caring for those who have been affected by this Virus.
