Martin Luther King Holiday

Today we honor Martin Luther King and his achievements during his life and that have influenced the nation.  I spent my morning watching my favorite TV shows, followed by some cooking and housekeeping.

Once the snow plows had cleared the area, I retrieved my car and collected the mail later that morning.    There’s still snow on the car roof, and I naïvely hoped it would melt by day’s end, but it didn’t.  

I received four late toll bills totaling $200, even though I paid in December.   To talk to any in that company is a stretch.  I will remit payment to them later this week.    I'm considering getting an EZ Pass.

Late this afternoon I spent watching TV and laundry and took a shower.    I liked picking at the stew.   I had a couple of bowls for dinner afterwards I got ready for bed and sent some texts.
