New Year's Eve Day

It’s a quiet morning, partly cloudy and is staying like this until Midnight.  I have been  up since 7 and have had my coffee.  Sent my morning texts.  They seem fine.

Jim called me last night; we spoke briefly, and he said I sounded terrible.  Although I was coughing a bit, I didn't feel bad.  We discussed our New Year's Eve plans.   They're going to dinner, just as I did with my parents when I was younger.  Jim asked if Mom enjoyed them and I couldn’t answer him

Just before 10 I started vacuuming and washing dishes.  I am going to have to get the dishwasher fixed.  Water is accumulating at the base of the machine.  I don’t want to spend a lot of money on it.  I guess I will do it after the taxes are paid

People are replying about tonight's party, and Lisa has cancelled due to the snow. I am not sure How many are left.

I stopped cleaning around 11.  I'll rest for a few hours so I'm not tired at the party.

It's 1 o'clock; I napped and had coffee.

Later that afternoon, I prepared my journal for January and February.   Around 2:30 I went to Aldi’s and get the snack foods and got some Dinner and then checked in with Liz.  She responded about 4 minutes later.   

Following dinner, which consisted of macaroni and cheese, I returned to the couch and rested until approximately 7 p.m.   I got and got ready for the party, took my time getting ready
