I left here just around 6:30 Tuesday night to go and get Tiger’s prescription but just as I was leaving I had run into Neighbor Bonnie (unit 5) and we got to chatting up a storm.  I shared the story of how got to the condo.  I learned she is widowed and has been here for 11 years and knew the Family who owned this condo.

The rest of the night was quiet and I went to bed fairly early

It must have rained at some point during the night because when I got up the ground was wet and there were some puddles.  However, that’s all it did all day.  It was in the 70’s and cloudy all day until dinner time.

Work went well.   I did some daily scanning (the eobs) and the CD upload sent the ones that had issues the day before to the library and another one today.  I was thrilled that there were two that worked.  Kim was very helpful.  Did the refund backlog and have another one to start today.

I was pleased to hear from DK.  We have been playing telephone tag for weeks now and I wanted to catch up with her.  She has a lot going on in her life still and it sounds like it’s stressful.

Liz has invited me to a salt room with her and her friends next week and I am going.  Its going to be a little expensive but as I said to Liz I can swing it.  It’s sort of like a birthday present I think.

I spoke to the vet at VCA today and they did confirm I have to give tiger the dosage twice a day for the next three weeks.  I don’t know if the next step is to taper to the every other day routine.

I came home tonight with every intention of doing cleaning.  I managed to get laundry started.  I have one load in the dryer and the other still in the washing machine.   I still have to soak a pair of green khaki pants.

I wasn’t in the mood to cook but I made steak around 7.  I did put out some of the ingredients for the pasta salad and hope to make it before leaving for work (but we all know that’s not going to happen really).  The pork loin is still frozen and I may cook that when I get home.

I am going to bed early though because I got tired and achy.  I took some aspirin.  My right leg has been acting weird for a couple of days now too.  I have been having a little too much salt I think.

The temperatures were in the 60’s when I left the house this morning and by the time I got to the office it was in the 70’s.  More evidence that summer is almost over.  I held the belief I didn’t mind the seasons changing but what kid likes to come in from playing when it gets dark?  I wonder if parents back in the day did these kinds of things?  Truthfully I am sure we did stuff.    As I get older I don’t always like how cold it gets.  I also don’t like the oppressive heat either.

I am looking forward to the Oyster Fest in Milford in a couple of weeks.  It's fun, lots of food, and people watching.  I don’t buy anything (other than the food if at all) because I either don’t need, want, or can afford it.

I haven’t been to too many activities in town though for the reasons listed below.

It would be great if I got back into walking and hiking again but it doesn’t seem to be the case.  My walks have been infrequent to say the least.  I feel I have other things to do.    When I get home at night I want to relax and enjoy myself.    The weekends are focusing on the house and even then they get dragged out or I get lazy.

The hiking group I belong to alway have their hikes in the North eastern part of the state.  Depending on when they have anything on the weekends I would have to leave early to get there.

Oh Meetup.com updated their site. Navigationally it's different and it will take time for me to get used to.  I have to wonder what the others think of it.  Of course I probably could have left it the way it was on mine.

Work was a bit slow.  I didn’t do any daily scanning until mid morning.  It was about that time that I got 2 CDs to upload.  One will be going to the film library.  The rest of the time I did the refund backlog.

I can’t help worrying that the flow of work is going to dry up.  AC says she has enough to do.  We split the daily scanning between us and sometimes the CD’s don’t come regularly.    Right now we both work on the refund backlog as well as anyone else is.  I suppose there is plenty of that.  I shouldn’t worry as it will pick up again soon.
