Well here we are again.  Midweek and I am sitting at my infusion.  I have been here just before 8.  Today will take a little longer than usual because we had to have bloodwork done but I definitely will be out of here by 10:30.  I have the first two infusions of 2021 in the books.  The first one is January 13, 2021 at 9 and the second one is February 10 at 8.  The staff continues to be wonderful.  I even got to see Deana the infusionist I had when I would get the infusions in the office.  The only thing I am not happy about is the weight.  I registered at 216 lbs.  Not good.

It is a nice day despite the clouds.  Its currently 62 degrees here and 64 back home.  It is supposed to get into the 70’s but no rain.  The rest of the week will be partly to mostly cloudy with some chance of rain.  Next week is starting off rainy.  I hope it helps with the current drought situation.  I still don’t understand the drought map or what it means technically.  I just know it will affect lawns, crops, and usage.  Late this afternoon the sun finally did come out.

Yesterday was the Appraisal it finished up around quarter of two now it is just a waiting game.  The cats survived the trauma and were not as pissed off at me as I thought.  They did avoid me a few times especially Tiger.   If I think about it Sky pulled away a few times before they both settled down next to me on the couch.  This morning I found Tiger next to the Cedar chest in the bedroom.  It was amusing.  Sky was in the backroom behind all the totes, crates, and boxes.

During the many texts to Liz last night I shared a Halloween joke with her thanks to Geico.  She was shopping and in the middle of making some Halloween Treats (Witches Fingers).  Anyway the joke I saw was a slight variation of this one.

Liz suggested while I was here having my infusion I do some window shopping for furniture and mattresses.  I did and I don’t want to spend $1k or more on mattresses or furniture.  Not so early in the process of moving.  Even with coupons.  As I wrote this continued to look and I saw some pretty ones that were under $700

I got back to the house around 11 and watched TV, ate some stuff, and fell asleep for an hour.  I paid some attention to the cats before they dispersed to either end of the house.  I watched TV, and then spent an hour or so working on my budget.   I overspent but not by as much as I thought I would.

Around 3 I decided that I wasn’t going to go to the Meetup this week.  I still have to get gas but if I don’t go to the meetup I can hold off getting gas for another day.   I am also still tired from today.  I can still do the weeding out of the closet later.

Liz seems to think that I will be out of the house by December and that getting things done would be helpful.   I haven’t dne it yet and I am still not sure I want to do it.  I have some suspicions I will be awake tonight so I may do it at some point.

Well I have to put out the garbage for tomorrow.  I also have to finish the rest of this weeks entries.

1.     I am thankful for family warts and all.  I have been invited to my sister’s for Thanksgiving next month and a post-Thanksgiving dinner with Jim the weekend after the holiday.  I don’t know about you but I remember a number of years that Mom and I had been invited to a few places for the holidays like that.

2.    I am thankful for the kitties.    They have recovered from the latest indignity of being put in crates and had their freedom curtailed for a few hours.  I am hoping now they won’t be going into them again until we move.

3.    I am thankful for my job.   Busy.  Every day the additional steps in Scanning have been coming into the routine.  I haven’t done them myself but AC showed them to me before I left Tuesday.

The union is scheduling EPM’s with staff members and the management at least in YM.  DK will be handling the scheduling.

4.   I am thankful for the medical profession that keeps me on the road to good/better health.  I see Dr. Sonia next week.  I got a refund from the Eye Dr.  That is a nice windfall.

5.                   I am thankful for my home.  I have been keeping it up since the house has been on the market.  We had the appraiser earlier this week.  We should get the decision in the next couple of days.

6.                   I am thankful for my friends.  I didn’t make it to Madison this week but I will next week.   I talked with Mama a few days ago.  She and Papa are doing well.  It’s almost time for me to call her with the house update.

I am going to send another email to Dr. T.  to see how she is doing.

7.        I am thankful for my neighbors.   Everyone is fine

8.         I am thankful for the organizations I belong to.  Ladies guild has something coming up next month.  I keep looking for notifications and updates in the bulletin but nothing yet.

9.                   I am thankful for the weather.  It’s been chilly in the morning and as warm as the 60s this week.  There has been very little to no rain.  As I mentioned yesterday we may get some rain next week.

10.                  I am thankful for those who choose to protect and serve our country.  Enough said.

11.   I am thankful for those who are in the healthcare caring for those who have been affected by this Virus.
