Last Day of Winter

Today is the last day of winter and it couldn’t come fast enough for me.  Winter was colder and snowier than usual.   I tried to look through my blogs and see how many times I acknowledged this day in the past and I think I mentioned it two times over the years.  I also  tried to see if other bloggers also mentioned it and I found few.  I know that when ever spring starts tomorrow it seems we expect a quick turnaround.  Unfortunately, it was cloudy all day and very cold.

Early this morning, I felt unwell and experienced vomiting and diarrhea.   I messed up the bathroom and cleaned it.   I took some showers.  This continues well into the period after waking.  I went back to bed for a while then I had to get up and  I made it to work with no problems. I felt better by 9:30.

The day was about catch up.  I completed the denials provided by Patty from the previous day, as well as all assigned daily tasks. Additionally, I notified the supervisor that although there were not many refunds, all of them were processed.

I even got retrained or shown what Gargoyle/GA does with the hospital mail.  I think this shows she won't continue. 

The committee meeting was short one but had a few updates for the next week.  One is the union negotiating team presented the first half of our proposals.  Our economic proposals will be presented in a week.  Meanwhile, there will be several activities and a major committee meeting next week.   I believe that’s when our new International President will be there to help us.

I took Kent to his second Job today, It was at the mall.  We chatted about various topics on the way.

Upon returning home, I contacted Liz to coordinate the collection of her mail.   I also got a chance to see her new haircut.  Slightly blonde.  After I complimented her on hair.  I commented when people complimented my hair.   She made a remark that I didn’t like.  I told her I usually pin it back.  I got the mail and we heard from my nephew and we discussed him.    We also discussed the rest of the family.  We also had discussions that didn’t annoy me too.  They seemed innocuous enough, but who knows.

We decided to get dinner at Mac N Out and we ate before I came home.  The cat was not to plussed that he had to wait but he got over it.

I didn’t do much since I came home…   washed the dishes straighten the washer so I can do it tomorrow. I watched tv.  Now I am in bed about to go to sleep
