Labor Day 2024

Happy Labor Day!  While most of us are relaxing and enjoying the last vestiges of summer, there are hotel workers across the country striking for better wages, and healthcare.  They are Local 217.  That was what I was supposed to yesterday, but it changed as of Saturday afternoon.

I finally got some organizing done in my office.  I still have more to do but I am doing it slowly.  In between that and a little laundry watched some tv.

I also got some prescriptions renewed.  I probably should go back to the Pharmacy with this glucometer and have them reset it.  I just feel stupid that I messed it up.  Actually I need to go pick them up.

Oh, I also found the stamps I thought I threw out.  I have them on the bulletin board.  So that if I need them, they won’t be lost. Again. 

I heard from my Brother J they are relaxing, but he is also preparing for a colonoscopy.  Mine is next year thank goodness.

I got a package today.  It was a birthday gift from my friend Venus. It is a pen that says Happy Birthday on it is awesome. 😉
