TS Henri was raised to a category 1 Hurricane late Saturday afternoon. I am sorry I thought it was hurricane from the minute it formed. It rained here just before 6 but when I was talking to Liz earlier it was starting to rain there.
I took some stuff in and have yet to put it back where it belongs. I will probably do that tonight when I get home.
I did go out and get a few more things before nightfall including ice. I could probably use it to chill my milk or water. But I don’t know what else to sue it for.
Sunday morning it was raining semi hard and continued like that for the rest of the day. AT times I noticed the wind picking up but not nearly enough as predicted or forecasted. I was going to do the cleaning that I didn’t do Saturday. I ended up doing nothing but watch TV and watch the non-storm outside. It was pretty much over by 6 and that’s when Liz and I decided to take a ride around the beach area. We already came to the conclusion the storm was a dud at least for us.
On Monday I read in patch.com that a local weather forecaster with Fox61 was attacked by a troll on social media. She wasn’t the only one. Sam Kantrow over on Channel 8 handled one as well. I added my support to Ms Rachel adding. I thought the storm was a dud but I didn’t go online and rip every weatherperson I follow a new one. Unfortunately Social media allows this to happen.
After I read more and more support from her peers I couldn’t help but think or wonder if any of the peers would mention this incident on air (whether it was tv or radio) and then I felt that would be inappropriate but they didn’t so its nothing to even think about.
There was a beautiful full moon out Sunday night.
